Belgian designer Stéphanie Caulier was inspired to launch I Love Mr. Mittens after visiting a knitting cafe in NYC - it reminded her of childhood memories of sewing with her grandmother, mom and sister. Every garment label is inscribed with the phrase ‘Heartworking knitwear’, a testament to the women in the ateliers who work in tandem to bring to life Caulier’s vision of how knitwear should be, perennially contemporary, deceptively simple, timelessly elegant and last of all, of the highest quality. Spun from sustainably sourced yarns, all of the pieces in the collection are handmade by women of all ages.
